NARBZ

Born in Alice Springs, NT in 1989 and raised on Arrernte and Walpiri Homelands North and North/ West of. Evert Tomlins aka NARBZ or Narpipe *kngwarreye is a naturally talented musician/artist bringing a unique style, flow and overall approach to the music industry. NARBZ seeks to create a behind the scenes capture of musical creation. Interfacing with a Self titled audio visual production company and a portable/ on the go sound studio. The idea is to show the process that creates the 'spark' in real time. - "I have been writing raps since I was 14. Still to this day I use it as a tool of self discovery, to hear my thoughts as I say them out loud or express my comprehension or lack of understanding to those around me. Its a tool to help me stay inquisitive and appreciative and express and challenge my beliefs and constructs. I enjoy all genres of music but I think hip-hop has the ability to incorporate all genres as well, wait until you hear me throw a rap on the end of an opera..." The process is rough but refined in real time, whilst recorded for quality and training purposes. The message is raw, from the heart and how it is. *Kngwarreye is a title of kin or skinship. One of eight, belonging to the Arrernte/ Central Australian Tribes. (I am also 'Japangardi' in accord with the Walpiri Kinship.
